About Us

Women Training and Promotion (WOTAP) Wau is a female initiated organization, working in the field of children and women development activities. It was established in the year 1993 and registered with social welfare and HAC. The physical start of WOTAP operation in Wau town was in the year 1995 by the implementation of sub-projects in education, health, agriculture and income generating activities. WOTAP activities cover Western Bahr el Ghazal State. WOTAP is funded by different Donors.

WOTAP GOAL:

WOTAP goal is to establish to accomplish concentrating on the Relief, humanitarian, agriculture, public health, education, gender mainstreaming, women empowerment, economic development and environmental conservation.

MISSION:

Increase the use and relevancy of democratic information resources that inform women and other citizens about women, human rights, elections, governance, the media, access to justice and public affairs and help meet public challenges.

Is envisage the emergence of empowerment where a society of women and children live by virtue of humanity in achieving socio-economic and uplift emerge as highly empowered citizens both locally and nationally.

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

To advance community prosperity that improves living standards of the target populations in their respects of life.
