We believe in the power of communities to build peace between them. We organise meetings to give them a chance for reconciliation. WOTAP believes that to be able to defend their rights, people have to know them first. As not a lot of people in Southern Sudan are able to access bills or to read information about their rights, we visit villages and communities to inform them.
WOTAP is committed to advance human rights in Western Bahr al Ghazal. For that reason WOTAP is an active member of the Human Rights Committee.
We play an important role in the advocacy for peace-building, human rights and of course especially women’s rights.
